The Black Belt Team is a special leadership group for students who show strong effort, discipline, and a willingness to help others.

In this program, students learn to grow not only as martial artists, but also as responsible leaders.

Through focused training, students develop:

Confidence to stand in front of others and lead
Courage to face challenges with discipline
Respect for their instructors and fellow students
Responsibility to help younger members of the dojo

Black Belt Team members train together each week to improve their skills, assist instructors, and support the dojo community.

The program is family friendly and welcoming for students ages 5 and up, while still maintaining the structure and discipline expected in traditional martial arts training.

Students learn an important lesson along the way:

Leadership is not about being in charge.
Leadership is about setting the example.

At S.K.I.L. DOJO, the Black Belt Team prepares students for the long journey toward Black Belt and lifelong personal growth.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Ages 10 and Up)
Our Teen and Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program welcomes families, teens, and individual students who want practical training in a respectful and structured environment. Rooted in the authentic teachings of Carlson Gracie and Marcus Soares Jiu-Jitsu, this program emphasizes technical skill, discipline, control, and functional self-defence.

Students learn how to use leverage, timing, and sound strategy rather than relying only on strength or size. Training supports improved fitness, focus, confidence, and personal responsibility, while also giving families and individuals an opportunity to grow through consistent practice.

Whether you are training alongside a family member or beginning your own path, S.K.I.L. DOJO offers a place to learn at your own pace. Some train for self-defence, some for fitness, some for competition, and others for steady personal development. Our goal is to provide clear instruction, strong guidance, and a path of progress both on and off the mats.
